Barnes & Noble Nook Wi-Fi ($149), announced on June 21, 2010, offers Nook users complimentary access at all AT&T Wi-Fi hot spots. The company is also lowering the cost of Nook 3G to $199.

Nook customers enjoy a color touch screen for navigation and best-in-class E-Ink display which makes reading books even more fun.

Nook Wi-Fi lets you share eBooks with friends and family for up to 14 days. You can also browse complete eBooks in Barnes & Noble stores at no cost. There are more than one million eBooks, magazines and newspapers available, as well as free eBook samples.

The 2GB device carries approximately 1,500 eBooks. With Wi-Fi turned off, the device gives you 10 days reading time on a single battery charge.

Nook Wi-Fi is available from www.nook.com and at BestBuy for $149 starting this week, just in time for summer reading on the beach.
