For years your computer hard drive has been a consistent 7,200rpm. Unless, of course, you were one of those people that spent lots of your hard-earned cash on a 10,000rpm drive. Now you can increase your notebook performance by adding a solid-state drive.
SanDisk are launching the new G3 family of solid-state drive in mid 2009.
The G3 drive will come in 60, 120 and 240GB sizes and are about 5 times faster than a standard 7,200 rpm hard drive.
The G3 drives will retail for $149, $249 and $499, respectively.
