Free iPhone Case or Refund Within 30 Days of Your Purchase

This morning, the Apple web site home page started showing a link towards the bottom of the page where iPhone 4 owners can request a free case.

You will need to install an app on your iPhone 4 to request the case. This process seems to be fast an efficient. Download the app, load it in your phone, choose a case and confirm your selection. An on-screen message informs you that the case will arrive within 3-5 weeks.

Users who have already purchased a case will receive an automatic refund from Apple.

The Apple web site states:

For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase. To qualify for this program, you must purchase your iPhone 4 by September 30, 2010.
